On February 10th, 2021 we testified against SF 224, a bill to prevent transgender students from using the appropriate restroom at schools. We heard from all sorts of folks from students, parents, and experts in the field. They were unanimous: this bill is bad. Only one person spoke in favor of the bill, Chuck Hurley of The Family Leader. Regardless, Carlin and Taylor advanced the bill to the full committee.
