The Iowa Senate Education Committee is set up to fast track HF2416 and SF2342, bans that would exclude transgender girls from participating in school sports programs. The bill has already cleared the House and will be debated in the Senate in the near future.
Instead of focusing on issues that benefit all Iowans, the Iowa Legislature is moving to entertain baseless attacks on vulnerable children. Trans children are children.
